The Happy Homebodies met Jan. 17 at 4-H Christy Hall in Nevada. Wesley Carleton, club vice president, chaired the meeting. During the meeting, the club discussed the Communication Contest on March 28-29 at the Collegiate United Methodist Church in Ames. After the meeting, club members had snacks and enjoyed a presentation by the Wildlife Care Clinic from Iowa State University. The clinic staff brought some of their animals to show and talk about. 4-H’ers enjoyed getting to see an American kestrel, a red-tailed hawk, a barred owl and an opossum.

For information about visiting our next meeting, contact our club leaders, Marcia and Neil Rima, at 515-382-2084.
