The Nevada Clover Club is wrapping up its first session with Camp in a Can, an afterschool program focusing on the world of birds. Camp in a Can is a Governor’s STEM Initiative program and includes a visit from the Blank Park Zoo. The 4-H afterschool club is made available by Story County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach and is held at the Nevada Community Resource Center.

Session one of the 4-H afterschool club program will end in December and session two will begin in January. Registration information for session two is now available online. The camp is open to youth in grades 1 through 4. As a 4-H club participant, families receive the monthly county 4-H newsletter and may participate in additional county 4-H opportunities.
