Students so named must have earned a GPA of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.

Adam Lytle of McCallsburg and Weston Neuendorf of Zearing, both members of the Upper Iowa University football team, earned spots on the athletic director’s honor roll for the fall semester. To earn consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a minimum 3.20 grade-point average during the 2013 fall semester.

Addison Bates, the daughter of Michael and Cherrine Bates of Nevada, has earned a place on the St. Olaf College dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester. Bates is an exercise science major and a graduate of Nevada High School.

Allison Hulshizer of Colo and Kyle Lehman of Nevada both earned a place on the Grand View University dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester. Students are named to the dean’s list for earning a GPS of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale while carrying at least 12 hours of classes.

Emma Cassabaum, the daughter of Michelle and Steven Cassabaum of Nevada, has been named to the Luther College 2013 fall semester dean’s list. To be named, a student must earn a semester GPA of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale and must complete at least 12 credit hours with 10 hours of conventional grades.

Lucas Johnson and Tyler Olson, both from Nevada, were named to the dean’s list at Kirkwood Community College for the fall 2013 semester.These students have achieved a 3.3 grade point average or higher after completing 12 or more credit hours with the college. Johnson is working toward an AA in liberal arts and Olson is pursuing an AAS in golf course and athletic turfgrass management.

Ann Hoover was on the academic president’s list at Drake University for the fall semester 2013. To be so honored, a student must earn a GPA of 4.0 on a 4.0 scale. She also received a varsity letter for women’s soccer and served as one of two team captains on last year’s team.

Emily Lytle of Colo, a student at Allen College working toward a BSN in nursing, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester. Bachelor’s students in the nursing programs must complete at least 12 semester hours and achieve a GPA of 3.5 or above to be so honored.
