Blood donation coming up soon

The tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001, are a somber reminder that life is unpredictable and maintaining a stable blood supply throughout the year is critical for saving lives, especially if catastrophe strikes. Your blood donation will save lives by ensuring blood products are readily available the moment they are needed. Honor our troops and remember those lost on Sept. 11 by giving blood at the Nevada Community Blood Drive, Wednesday, Sept. 3, 1-6 p.m. at Gates Hall, 825 15th St.

To reward and thank our loyal, volunteer blood donors, LifeServe offers points for every blood donation which can be redeemed at the LifeServe Online Store. This September, LifeServe is offering blood donors a unique opportunity to donate their points back to support our troops. For more information or to schedule a blood donation appointment, visit lifeservebloocenter.org or call 800-287-4903.
