The following information is released by the Nevada Police Department. The Journal prints all information released from the department, including juvenile arrests, as per current law. We would encourage the public to keep in mind that these charges are merely an accusation, and the defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

12/11: Robert William Grunder, Nevada, 33, 1-Assault (D/A) (Serious)

12/13: Kyle Michael Albers, Ames, 20, 1-Warrant

12/14: David Lee Masingale, Nevada, 46, 1-Drug Del Meth over 5 grams, 2-Drug Paraphernalia, 3-Drug Tax Stamp, 4-D.W.L.R.

The system will be used to inform you of emergency events that may impact your safety. We encourage all city of Nevada residents to enroll additional contact information, including cell phone numbers, text and email addresses so we may reach you in case of emergency. Please visit the city of Nevada’s website at www.cityofnevadaiowa.org and click on the CodeRED logo to enroll. If you do not have Internet access, please contract a friend or family members to help add your contact information to the emergency database. You may also receive city of Nevada emergency, general and missing person alerts specific to your location on the CodeRED Mobile Alert app, available for download on iTunes and Google Play.
