Library Celebrates With Ribbon Cutting

An Open House and ribbon cutting were held at the Nevada Public Library on Sunday, Jan. 26 to celebrate the completion of the new addition to the library. Over 350 people attended the event. In addition to great food provided by Fareway, the library was filled with magicians, balloon artists and Dan Wardell. At 3 p.m., the crowd gathered in front of the beautiful new fireplace, donated by Bob Walters, to cut the ribbon for the new addition. Pictured are Matt Mitchell and Justin Mott, contractors for the project; Jason Cooper and Michelle Cramblit, architect and designer for the project; Cindy Anderson, Linda Wright, Carol Brown, Beth Williams, John Haywood and Randy See, library staff; Chad Bauman, Sandy Ehrig, Barb Parker, Carolyn Shaw, Adam Riedell, Hank Zaletel, Rebecca Funke, library board members; and Elizabeth Hansen and Lynn Lathrop, City of Nevada.
