The Nevada Cheerleaders held their camp July 21-22.

During the camp, the cheerleaders received instruction from two NCA (National Cheerleading Association) cheerleaders.

Neon Day and Tie Dye Day were some of the fun days the group held. They participated in a team-bonding activity, where each cheerleader tie dyed their own shirt for camp. They have centered their bonding and fundraising on getting word out about Nevada Cub Pride to the community.

All cheerleaders got participation ribbons. Some girls were nominated for qualities they have that would make them good All American cheerleaders. Those nominated for All American included Abbie Lindsey, Mary Storvick, Baileigh Kerns, Celine Kashinskie and Maddie Guge.

Madeline Mathis was nominated for the National Cheerleading Association.

Special honors went to Paige Plate, Rhea Strong and Madi Highland. Plate was selected for a spot on the All American Cheerleading team. Strong and Highland were chosen for spots on the National Cheerleading Association.

Congratulations to all Nevada’s cheerleaders.
