Nevada FFA Receives Donated Equipment

The Nevada FFA recently received more donated tractor parts and equipment from various companies, farms and individuals. Colfax Tractor Parts donated a three-point hitch assembly for a Ford tractor owned by the chapter. Colfax also donated a set of Massey Ferguson fender brackets needed for the FFA’s Massey Ferguson 180 project - Mr. Cooper reminded the students that the tractor parts otherwise would have cost over six hundred dollars. Charlie and Chris Lloyd donated a DR 32” Heavy Duty brush mower. The mower is powered by a 17 hp. Kawasaki engine that makes short work of tall vegetation. Chance Flynn donated a JD RG4 cultivator to the FFA. Another local individual donated a John Deere tractor equipped with over $1,400 of new tires, a six foot pull-type mower and a John Deere eight foot straight disk. Anyone wanting to donate to the FFA can call the high school at 382-3521, ext. 329, for Mr.Cooper.
