The Nevada Titans and the Nevada Football League youth tackle football program would like to announce that they will be hosting two special events this Sunday, Oct. 13.
First will be the regular season finale for the youth teams, and every team will be playing at home this weekend at the Nevada High School stadium. Game schedules on Oct. 13 are as follows:
12 p.m. (third/fourth) Nevada Titans White vs. Ballard Jets GW
1:30 p.m. (third/fourth) Nevada Titans Blue vs Ballard Jets White
3 p.m. (fifth) Nevada Titans Blue vs Ballard Jets White
4:30 p.m. (sixth) Nevada Titans Blue vs Ames Bears White
Second, during the games, the Titans will be recognizing that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. You may have noticed some of your favorite NFL teams “Going Pink” in October in order to help bring awareness to this important campaign and promote annual screening. The Titans would like to bring this cause home, and announce our very own “Go Pink” event.
Titans players will be “Going Pink” for the game, wearing something pink to recognize the cause. We also encourage our fans to “Go Pink” by also wearing something pink to the game.
There will be a free-will donation box at the stadium set up for fans to leave donations. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
We hope you can come out on Oct. 13 to help the Nevada Titans “Go Pink,” increase awareness for this important campaign and cheer on the Titans to victory!
