Nevada High School to honor five at Hall of Fame induction

Nevada will hold its annual Hall of Fame induction during half-time of the boys’ varsity game against North Polk on Friday, Jan. 24. That evening, Hall of Fame inductees — Nevada graduates who have earned recognition for their academic accomplishments — will be honored at an open house in the high school commons, starting at 5:30 p.m.

This year’s inductees (and their graduation years) are: Todd Sampson, 2006; Courtney Goosic Mottet, 1993; Evan Brown, 2006; Randy Davis, a current NHS coach, 1978; and Denny Weuve, 1964. Community members are invited to share the open house and evening’s events with these inductees and congratulate them on their achievement.
