Crystal Swartzlander of Zearing was inducted into the Alpha Iota Omega Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa at Ellsworth Community College. Phi Theta Kappa is an international honor society for two-year colleges. To qualify for membership, students must be in a degree-seeking program with a cumulative 3.25 grade point average, and have completed a minimum of 12 credit hours. Swartzlander is a practical nursing major.

Amy Sampson of Nevada will feature artwork at Wartburg College’s annual Senior Exhibition, beginning Thursday, April 10. The exhibit in the Waldemar A. Schmidt Gallery in Bachman Fine Arts Center will run through May 25. Gallery hours are 9 a.m.-7 p.m. daily and by appointment. The exhibit is free and open to the public. A reception for the artists will be April 10, 6-8 p.m.
