Volleyball Team Earns Sportsmanship Medal

The freshmen (with one eighth-grader) Nevada volleyball team won the Sportsmanship Medal during Net Fest at the Iowa Games, Jan. 4. This team was awarded the medals based on ratings of the teams from their pool. The Iowa Games puts a great deal of emphasis on sportsmanship and the need to display respect for opponents, officials, teammates and coaches. Congratulations to this volleyball team members on their hard work and representing themselves, their families, their coach and school district in such an honorable manner.
